Mrs. B was born and raised in Central Florida and lives in a small cabin in Silver Springs, Florida, on the edge of the Ocala National Forest with her husband (who is also an artist in his own right). She takes her DSLR when she goes flat boating or hiking, and when taking road trips to capture memorable Florida moments for painting inspiration.Â
She’s had a creative streak as far back as she can remember, whether it be painting, sewing, or music, but decided to go all in during her 40s by making a humble living as an artist. She also returned to school at 53 to achieve her BFA in Graphic Design, allowing her to have one foot in traditional art and one foot in the digital world, although her true love will always be the art of traditional painting.

Mrs. B is currently engaged in four projects: Her Facebook Group, Art by Three Florida Natives, TM Burris Original Florida Art showcasing her 8" x 10" and 9" x 12" Florida and Tropical Themed Works on Etsy, Her mural business, The Silver Bristled Muralists, which her husband is also involved in, and Floridiana Hum-Dinky™. She gives thanks to God in the name of Jesus Christ for all that she has and for all that she does not have.
